clean burr by manual
This is also commonly used by enterprises, using files, sandpaper, grinding head and other auxiliary tools. The file has manual file and pneumatic stagger.
Brief comment: The labor cost is expensive, the efficiency is not very high, and it is difficult to remove the complex cross-hole. The technical requirements for workers are not very high, suitable for products with small burrs and simple product structure.
Deburring by Stamping Die
The burr removal is carried out by making a die and a punch press.
Brief comment: There is a need for a certain production cost of stamping dies (rough dies + fine dies), and possibly a need for shaping dies. Suitable for products with simpler parting surface, better efficiency and deburring effect than manual.
Grinding methods for deburring
This kind of deburring includes vibration, sand blasting, shacking polishing, shot blasting and so on, which are widely used in enterprises.
Brief comment: There is a problem that the removal is not very clean, which may require follow-up manual treatment of residual burrs or other ways to deburr. Suitable for small products with large batches.
Deburring by CNC machine center OR ROUTER, engraving machine
Brief comment: The price of equipment is expensive (tens of thousands), which is suitable for simple space structure and simple and regular deburring location. In Prototypes making, as the manufacturing quantity is small, so we use CNC milling method to clean the burr directly.
An electrochemical processing method for removing burrs in metal parts by electrolysis.
Brief comment: The electrolyte is corrosive to a certain extent, and the parts near the burr are also electrolyzed. The surface will lose its original luster, even affect the dimensional accuracy. After deburring, the workpiece should be cleaned and rust-proof. Electrolytic deburring is suitable for deburring concealed parts with intersecting holes or complex shapes. It has high production efficiency. The deburring time usually takes only a few seconds to tens of seconds. It is suitable for deburring gear, connecting rod, valve body and crankshaft oil passage orifice, as well as fillet chamfering.
Deburring by Ultrasound
Ultrasound generates instantaneous high pressure to remove burrs.
Also, for WEDM, EMD machined parts, Ultrasonic cleaning method used to clean the Cutting oil.
Brief comment: Mainly for some micro-burrs, generally if the burrs need to be observed with a microscope, they can try to remove by ultrasonic method.
